Following are the steps to install Boot Animation CM10 on your Android Smartphone:

1. Once you are done with downloading the file, open CM10_bootanimation.zip.
2. Select the  desired vertical or horizontal resolution folder and copy the corresponding bootanimation.zip to your devices SDCard.[PS dont keep it in deep nested folders on your SD card.]
3. Using Root Explorer or ES File Explorer, place the new bootanimation.zip file in /system/media/.
