AMTS Boards Google Bus!

Google has announced the availability of bus routes from Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) and Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Services (AMTS) on Google maps’ transit information. Google has been gradually adding transit information for Indian cities, with local transport bodies and after this announcement, Google maps now cover bus and local train/Metro routes for Mumbai and Delhi, bus routes for Pune and Bangalore and local train/metro routes for Kolkata and Chennai. The maps are available on both desktop and mobile versions.

So no hassle of knowing the right bus number before boarding an AMTS bus? Well, now the information is just a mouse click away. AMTS route information, complete with bus numbers, will now be available on Google Maps.

Hardly matters if you are newbie to Ahmedabad. Finding bus from KALUPUR railway station to IIM or Vastrapur would be too easy.

Here are the route options from Maninagar Railway Station to IIM-A.
