Lets download the Facebook Messenger, astandalone desktop app with which you can use Facebook chat service without visiting Facebook.com.This Facebook messenger is launched as trial app which you can download and try it right now!
While you are surfing web or using other applications on your computer,you can
1.Chat & Message with your Facebook Friends
2.You can see latest updates from your friends in ticker.
3.You can also get quick notifications about what’s going on!
Once you are done installing Facebook Messenger you can login and log-out by just right clicking on FB icon in your Windows system tray.
- So as to login to Messenger app,justy right click the Facebook icon in your Windows system tray and select Log-in.
- Once you open the app,by default it would be undocked by default so that you can drag and carry it anywhere on your computer screen.
- You have a lso got an option to dock it on right side of windows.

The docking feature is nice, but apart from that, I don’t really see the point in it. Group chats don’t appear to pop up at this point, it still comes up in the normal web interface.

Thanks for this info.Well, i dont know how useful this might be, because i think that it is the same if we go to the site of facebook, or we turn on the facebook messenger. it is not a big deal going right away to the site, and since the facebook messenger has some limitations – we cant chat with multiple friends, we cant use the video calling, i dont know how many people will be actually interested in it.
