It took Microsoft long enough to understand that the future (at least the present) is in social media. Now, Microsoft has one but the transition will be difficult. But a successful company like this will have no problem making the best out of it.

Nice to see that Microsoft has also turned towards social networking following Google Plus and Facebook. Thanks for this information. :)

I tried the new Social Networking site of Microsoft so.cl. It was confusing at first, playing with it for a short time i might get used to its environment i think eventually it will become popular. so.cl users are friendly as they post comments and likes my posts.. Maybe those users are from Microsoft trying to interact with the new members of their site. Let’s see what happens with their new launched networking site.

When it comes to large tech companies and how they’ve fared with social networking, one could argue that Microsoft is the most successful.
Microsoft says it “expect[s] students to continue using products such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other existing social networks, as well as Bing, Google and other search tools,”
