Windows Team has announced an update to Windows Live Essentials 2011 for Photogallery and Movie Maker called Windows Live Essentials 2012 (Wave 5).

Its now Windows Essentials 2012 unlike Windows Live Essentials 2011.So by installing Windows Essential 2012,it will remove Windows Live Mesh from your computer and replace it with new Skydrive Desktop App.Definitely if you are used to Windows Live Mesh,its better that you DO NOT Install Windows Essential 2012.

Lets checkout whats new in Windows Essentials 2012 (minus Live)

Photo Gallery : You can now upload along with Skydrive to Youtube and Facebook.
Autocollage feature is also added.

Windows MovieMaker:Windows Movie Maker is a great way to turn your ordinary photos and videos into a captivating story. With major advancements in hardware accelerated graphics in Windows 8,there are some significant upgrades, including video stabilization, h.264 by default, text effects, and greatly enhanced music capabilities.

Vimeo: They have added Vimeo as new publish partner.So from now onwards you can share your videos staright to Vimeo from both Photogallery and Movie Maker.

Even Windows Live Writer has got few updates.

Windows Essentials 2012 requires Windows Vista or Windows 7, and is available in 48 languages including English, French, Dutch, Japanese, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, German and Russian.It worked well for me on Windows 7 and Windows 8 OS.
